AWS Process Menu

With the AWS Process Menu you can organize applications and files in a graphically presented tree, and easily launch any application or access any file. The applications can reside on the PC, the web or on the mainframe.

Tree Structure

Applications and files can be arranged in different structures, and presented in different ways:

The Global Node

This node contains all the applications and files that have been defined for your installation.

The My Work Node

The individual end user may customize her process menu by dragging items from the global structure and dropping it somewhere inside the My Work structure. You can also drag and drop any PC application or file into the local structure.

For instance, you can arrange a number of applications in the order you use them to perform a task.

The History Node

Here, the process menu keeps track of your most recently used applications and files.

Launch Facility

To launch an application, you usually need some form of input, such as an article or order number. The AWS Process Menu keeps track of the input you have used recently, and suggest them automatically. Some applications require that you enter codes (such as S, M or L). The AWS Process Menu can instead display a straightforward list (such as Small, Medium and Large), freeing the end user from having to remember the codes.

Information

From time to time, additional information is necessary to describe how to use an application. The AWS Process Menu fetches such documentation over your intranet, so when you select a node in the tree, the documentation for that particular application will appear.

Human Languages

The AWS Process Menu is delivered with support for Swedish and English. In addition, you can add support for other languages.
