Aros BAS
Aros BAS is kind-of a high-level language for Aros application programs, intended to manage the communication between an application and the outside, such as a terminal or a printer.
Aros BAS manages, and thus frees applications from, the following tasks:
- Verification of individual input fields.
- Data conversion to and from the displayed format on the terminal.
- Storing conversational information.
- Logic for managing pages, and line nesting.
- Maintaining field attributes.
Aros BAS can be coded directly, or be generated from our code generator Arossys Source. Using Arossys Source, you can "draw" screen layouts.
Further, we support IBM GDDM. Read more on GDDM at IBM's site.
Aros BAS, installation as well as operation, is documented in separate manuals.
Aros BAS är något av ett högnivåspråk för Aros-applikationsprogram. BAS hjälper till med kommunikationen mellan program och terminal.
Aros BAS sköter följande uppgifter:
- Verifikation av enskilda indatafält.
- Datakonvertering till och från det format som visas på terminalen.
- Sparar konversationsinformation.
- Logik för att sköta sidor och rader.
- Sköter fältattribut.
Man kan koda med Aros BAS för hand, eller med hjälp av vår kodgenerator Arossys Source. Med Arossys Source, kan man "rita" terminalbilderna.
